William F. Powell Elementary School envisions itself as a community of learners. W.F. Powell Elementary School’s goal is to recognize and meet the individual needs of our diverse student population. Our objective is to address barriers to learning through a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach. This includes technology and excellent school and community resources. We believe in educating the whole child. Therefore, it our mission to develop caring and cooperative students who accept responsibility, respect themselves and others, strive for excellence in their academic performance and social behavior, and contribute to a safe and non-violent environment for living and learning in an ever-changing and multi-cultural world.
